How does the 30-day trial work?
Every Primer Manwear order comes with a 30-day trial.
Wear them. Walk in them. Test them at work, at home, and on weekend errands. If they're not for you, we'll refund 100% of your money — no questions, no fine print.
We'll stay in touch by email during the trial to make sure they're fitting right.
After 30 days, you're still covered: any manufacturing defect or product issue within the first year means a free replacement, no fuss.

How do I find out my size?
Most customers report true-to-size fit. If you wear thick walking socks or have wider feet, size up half a size for comfort.
The structured leather upper moulds to your foot shape over the first 1-2 weeks. Don't worry if they feel slightly firm on day one — that's the structured support doing its job.

I'm used to regular trainers. Why try an orthopaedic one?
Regular trainers are built around cushioning, not support. After 6 months they compress and stop absorbing impact properly. Our orthopaedic version uses a structured insole with a heel-cup and reinforced arch — designed to hold its shape across years of daily walking and reduce the strain on knees, hips and lower back that builds up with unsupported footwear.
Best shoe if my feet ache by the afternoon?
The orthopaedic insole takes pressure off the arch and heel, where most afternoon aches start. The multidirectional outsole spreads impact across the foot instead of concentrating it under the heel. Paired with the slightly elevated heel, you've got a shoe that lets you stay on your feet for 10-12 hours without the usual end-of-day burn.
Will they work in British winter weather?
Yes. The leather upper is water-repellent and the outsole is rated for wet pavement, polished tile and slick decking. They handle drizzle, puddles and cold mornings — though for sustained rain or deep wet grass, treat the leather with a waterproofing spray every few months.
