1. Who we are

Primer ManWear is a trading name of BMM DIGITAL LTD ("we", "our", "us"). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16603634, with registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of personal data collected through primerman-wear.com.

2. What personal data we collect

Order & account data: name, billing & delivery address, email, phone (optional), order history.
Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments / Stripe — we do not store full card details.
Browsing data: IP address, device, pages viewed, referrer (via cookies — see our Cookies Policy).
Marketing data: email/SMS opt-in status, campaign engagement.

3. Legal basis (UK GDPR Art. 6)

Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing orders, delivery, returns.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing emails, non-essential cookies, SMS.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): fraud prevention, service improvement, defending legal claims.
Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): tax, accounting, consumer law compliance.

4. Who we share data with (processors)

Shopify Inc. — storefront, checkout, order management.
Shopify Payments / Stripe — payment processing.
Klaviyo — email and SMS marketing (consent only).
Meta Platforms (Facebook Pixel) — advertising, conversion tracking (consent only).
Google Analytics 4 — site analytics (consent only).
Royal Mail / courier partners — delivery fulfilment.

5. International transfers

Some of our processors (Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Google) are based in the United States. Transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (UK IDTA addendum) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

6. Retention

Order records: 7 years (HMRC requirement).
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe, then 2 years of inactivity before deletion.
Account data: while account is active + 6 years.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing, port your data, and object to processing. Contact us at support@primerman-wear.com to exercise these rights — we respond within 30 days.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.
